I've never been so far away from home It's not easy to ignore it when you're always on the phone I haven't made a friend in quite some time It's not easy to get out there when I'd rather stay behind You can not give up on yourself You're not the only one Love's never ending And there's always room for more I've never seen a love so strong and pure But I've never been invited I'm just locked at the door You can not give up on yourself You're not the only one Love's never ending And there's always room for more If I could I would ask for more But I don't believe I deserve it so I'll let it slide forever more I've never loved someone like this before And I need it more than ever because a long time has come and gone You can not give up on yourself You're not the only one Love's never ending And there's always room for more

I've been in and out of a daze Creeping up on my own malaise I don't know just how I got there I just know that I was so scared It's been one long year So glad to see you here I don't know just what's out there I only know what I've got in here You say, "If it's so, then it's so" But that's what I want to know I need a road to the Kingdom A couple of months will take you there I was out on my own Growing up but not alone I don't know just how I got there I just know that it's not a samaritan snare You say, "If it's so, then it's so" But that's what I want to know I need a road to the Kingdom A couple of months will take you there I was waiting on the end Of a year that didn't ever bend In my favour it was a nightmare I was caught in some sort of hellish icy glare I tried to look back But it nearly knocked me off the track I had some special people with me I'm still surprised that they didn't kill me You say, "If it's so, then it's so" But that's what I want to know I need a road to the Kingdom A couple of months will take you there

Let's give it up for the ones Who make us smile They make it all worthwhile They make our day Because they're not afraid to say That we're okay Let's give it up It's been a while but it's good to see that we can pick it up where we left off Lets give it up for the friends we found and the sadness of those we've lost It's good to see you after a long day when my dreams feel like they're fading away Lets give it up for the ones we love and the ones who always say We're okay It's never good enough to say That life won't get better unless we pray It happens all the time You've got to get out on your own And then see that you're never alone It happens all the time Let's give it up for the ones Who make us smile Who make it all worthwhile They make our day Because they're not afraid to say That we're okay Let's give it up

All my friends have gone They've left but linger on All my friends want out They've left no trace of doubt It makes me feel so wrong I'd love to sing their songs I don't know what's wrong with me But I've never felt like travelling the world I'm happy where I am If you can't understand That's okay with me We've all got different plans I may change my mind But only by nature's design If I can't see the sign I must be out of my mind I don't know what's wrong with me But I've never felt like travelling the world

Did it mean anything You don't talk the same as you did back then Does it mean anything when I say that we're hanging by a thread now Did it mean anything Or did you see it as a means to an end Does it mean anything Our paths crossing again as old friends To ask for change is what I can't do I spent too many years following you Time to let it go Let it go The time for solitude is over I'm undone The time for peace is over We're overrun The time for change is over We're out of luck The time for love is over It's not there The time for change is over It's not there The time for Love is over You don't care The time for change is over You don't care

Four months ago to the day You said you'd never run away From the problems that built your life The lies you told the fights you staged Now that you've changed your mind One man stands left behind The enduring chill runs down his spine The colder it gets the further you walk away If you can't find a way You've gotta make one yourself I say You can't start to change your ways If you keep on running away I remember when you stumbled in No one knew just where you'd been And you mistook my concern For God only knows I actually saw you yesterday But I couldn't bring myself to say A word to you But I couldn't turn away If you can't find a way You've gotta make one yourself I say You can't start to change your ways If you keep on running away What could I do after you'd gone I couldn't sit still I just didn't belong Everyday's the same I guess You work real hard and do you're best But if something goes wrong you start to doubt God Can't prove He's there can't prove He's not If you can't find a way You've gotta make one yourself I say You can't start to change your ways If you keep on running away

You get home and you say You're running out of time But you're not being timed So what do you mean? You say it doesn't feel Like you're in control Like you're in control Yeah I know what you mean So you've made some bad decisions in your life It's like you started a war that you didn't want to fight At least you're smart enough to make things right for you Be glad that you know just what you need to do There have been times Where you've asked for advice I don't believe in advice I'd rather tell you the truth You'll get through this, I know it for sure, I know it for sure And you know it I'm sure If you take the trouble And forget the drama You can pass it by You'll just have to try To block out the drama It's something you can do It just depends if you want to It just depends if you want to So you've made some bad decisions in your life It's like you started a war that you didn't want to fight At least you're smart enough to make things right for you Be glad that you know just what you need to do

We're breaking up out here Times are hard Society crumbles away A lot of talk going around Despite having nothing to say I'd love to say It's never hard (It feels like you don't mind) what do we do? The nation state is dead Too much pride going around Greed reigns, running billions to the ground I'd love to say It's never hard (It feels like I/you don't mind) what do we do?

Undone 05:08
You can't count but you've got the time You've even got your disguise Over time you start to run Despite your wanting the prize And though you know you're gonna be caught The war has yet to be fought And though you run you know in time That it's you who'll have to be bought It's easy to find your lie It's easy to find who you are It's easy to find that you're gone It's easy to run, it's easy to run It's easy to run When you're undone And though you see that you're never around It takes you to another side And though you find that you've got the cash You hide it all away in a secret stash And though you feel that you're in control The lights always bring you down And though you feel your always on the run You head out and buy a gun It's easy to find you're holding on It's easy to see that you've become You're always running, holding onto the sun You fight it all just to be alone but you give up on yourself When you're undone It helps to go home You like to be what you can't explain It helps you to pass the time And though you find that you're over explained You can't help but shake the fine And though you feel that you're out of control It helps you feign design And though you know that you're on the run You can't help but follow the sign And it helps you to get outside When you're undone

Invisible 04:23
Every now and then I turn invisible again My skin grows thin And every meaning I spin Every now and then I loathe my place And every minute I waste And into hiding I haste Words fly past me Like glances in the dark While my words fly past them Rarely hitting the mark I don't want to do something That I might regret I don't want to be lonely At least not yet I don't want to be someone Who can't pull through And I don't want just anyone I want you to follow me In most areas I find That I've fallen so far behind And in others I barely scratch the surface Many times I'm glad To look around and see That there's no one there but me And I can release Words fly past me Like glances in the dark While my words fly past them Rarely hitting the mark

It makes no difference to me What you believe As long as you believe Who you believe As long as you don't deceive For years I went out on a limb Defending every fight you were in Taking the heat for every decision you made Regardless of who you played But times have changed Ideas rearranged There's no one left to blame And now It makes no difference to me What you believe As long as you believe Who you believe As long as you don't deceive Why you believe You don't believe in me It makes no difference to me I've run it all through my head And read all there is to be read What we have is the last thing I need Now it makes no difference to me

The room spins 'round The light had to split The feeling has been found The spark was lit Something's happening here Something feels very real I felt A brief pang of fear As I applied the seal Through time we'll stand Answerable to only our own demands Nothing is simple No person is truly free But we try to be Something's happening here What could it be? A life time of joy Compressed in a memory

Not Alone 03:51
I got that feeling again last night It's always that something you can't fight It's that quaint little feeling you get in the middle of the night When you know something's wrong yeah something's not right When you wake up next morning and you get out of bed All the dreams that you had just run through your head And then one day you find you're feeling insecure And all the people you need to talk to don't seem to be there for you any more And you don't believe in yourself any more And you don't believe in what you're waiting for And you want to run through that open door And you forget what you're living for It's when you open up to the ones you can trust You lift the weight of the world off your heart And that's when you realize that you're not left alone to fall Your friends are there after all But there's one friend that I'll never forget It was her who fixed my heart When I was down she'd pick me up And give me a fresh start And then one day you find you're feeling insecure And all the people you need to talk to don't seem to be there for you any more But now you believe in yourself again And you find that you have many friends Now you want to start again And you feel like you again I got that feeling again last night But it's alright

I've been down and out many times I've been holding out for the sublime You're the only reason I've come so far You're the only reason I've come through But these days have me beat I can't help but think We're all on repeat The institutions that we rely on Are shackled with the limitations we tie on This deck of cards would crumble The keys would fall off the board Through this life I would surely stumble Wishing someone would cut the chord Should I ever lose my faith in you Leaders are hardly able to keep up With the people they choose to corrupt No party will come close To the ideals we all need the most This world would fall to pieces This life would cease to bring joy As the pressure ever increases Many lives would they no hesitate to destroy This world would fall to pieces This life would cease to bring any joy As the pressure ever increases Many lives would they not hesitate to destroy Should I ever lose my faith in you I don't know what I have to say But sometimes you've gotta let it go that way I thought that I never would succeed What's life to be or not to be? I've got to get out of the way I know life's gonna be better one day And if I don't I expect to hear you say Why'd you get this way? Should I ever lose my faith in you

Regret 03:52
I sat in a lecture hall for more years than I could take Listened to theories that only came out half baked Of this life I fooled myself to partake My dreaded mistake Just when I had decided to leave My reality I could not believe I met someone whose love Would never let me grieve I met someone whose life Would never be parted from my own When I rise I can't regret last night Even when I was crazy I was looking for a life That wasn't my own When I die I can't regret this life Even when I was walking on the edge of a knife Cutting deep When I die I can't regret this life Even when I was walking on the edge of a knife Cutting deep

Where did you go Right now I need to know You've been gone so long You've been gone so long So much to say But there's no way It builds up inside Longing to cross nights' divide It's hard to believe That we'll meet again Time can be a healer But it's rarely a friend Where did you go No one seems to know I looked for your image in the sky On my life I really tried I wish I could say That I'd forget you one day But I don't think I will I really don't think I will It's hard to believe That we'll meet again Time can be a healer But it's rarely a friend

about

The songs recorded for this album were done for fun and had no intentions to see the light of day. However, constant prodding from friends has given me enough courage to release it. It is a work focusing on performance, not cold and lifeless perfection. Hopefully you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
