The meaning of this one is pretty obvious - no matter what troubles you... it's not the end of the world. It's only a small aspect of your life.
I like this song: the structure centered around the Wurlitzer riff is cool. It's got a bouncy bass line that sits nicely with everything else.... on paper it works but something doesn't feel right. I think it comes down to two things: the drums and an unknown element that could have fleshed this out. Maybe an organ? Glockenspiel? Tuba? Violin Octet? Who knows, but now that I've started thinking about it... it will never leave me alone. Oh the joys of being an "artist!"
lyrics
Tell me that you've found the cure
For thoughts that make you feel unsure
The marks are in and now you're out
There's no shadow of a doubt
In love one day and hate the next
You cry it out but don't reflect
There's more to life than that
It's only where you're at
Don't say that it's a fact
There's more to life than that
It's easy to react
Things happen way too fast
You know all things must pass
There's more to life than that
You feel so low because you're strapped
The God you want requires cash
Your day is spent dreaming of more
The newest thing at the newest store
The noble never seem to stray
But did you know you were born that way?
There's more to life than that
It's only where you're at
Don't say that it's a fact
There's more to life than that
It's easy to react
Things happen way too fast
You know all things must pass
It's ok if you fall flat
There's more to life than that
Don't hold on to your act
This time will surely pass
And don't let the mirror crack
You are worth more than that
Material wealth fades so fast
There's more to life than that
