I was trying to go for a 50's-eque sound on this one but it never really panned out. I think some better drums (maybe better everything!) would have allowed me to change it up a little but my production "prowess" at the time was pretty low. Overall, it ended up sounding like it had a foot in the door but just not enough to make it too interesting.
lyrics
Contentment is so hard to keep, it's so hard to keep
Love is so hard to find, it's so hard to find
But when you came to me
I swear your light was all I could see
I needed someone to comfort me
That's why you're my only sign
Love is so hard to give when you've never received
Time, it just slips away when there's no one to spend it with
So when you came to me
I swear your light was all I could see
I needed someone to comfort me
That's why you're my only sign
