How long will she carry me? I'm still finding that out! A walking bass line started this one. I like this one but I think the true power of it is lost in the mix. Sometimes you've got to go to someone else to bring out the better elements of whatever you're working on but in this case, and to be honest in many cases with my music, I never found the right person to give it a go. Perhaps I hold it a little too close to the chest but I think this one would certainly have ended up on something if it just had that extra push.
lyrics
When will I ever be at the top of my game, at my peak
When will I ever see you in love with me?
I've been wiaiting for you for so long
How long will she carry me? You never know
When will my years run dry? You never know
How long will it take 'till my back breaks?
From years of hard mistakes where every brick added more weight
You've been carrying me for so long
How long will she carry me? You never know
How many years can go by? You never know
Some questions can't be answered
It takes time for the answers to grow
When will I ever find them?
You never know
How long will she carry me? You never know
How many years can run by? You never know
